The Ajax Experience x Sid Lee Architecture

Aside from my unwillingness to experience an angry pre-match speech from Frank de Boer, the new Ajax Experience museum is one of the freshest things I’ve seen.

The city is completely related to its club: Amsterdam is Ajax, Ajax is Amsterdam. The Dutch national team has built its reputation over time, and the club has won all the awards in the profession: the Champions’ League, the UEFA Cup and the European Cup winners’ cup. The museum allows visitors to not only learn, but also discover what exactly has led Ajax to become one of the most respected teams in the history of football. Seems like this museum has everything except a virtual “get beat by a Cruyff turn” simulation.
